Potential New Member Recruitment Outfit Guide

At Cal Poly, Panhellenic Recruitment is an opportunity to express who you are, so we encourage you to let your personality shine through your outfits. This guide is here to inspire and provide helpful examples for each day—it’s not a set of rules, just ideas to help you feel confident, comfortable, and authentically yourself throughout the experience. These outfit suggestions are simply meant to give you a sense of the vibe for each round, and there is absolutely no need to buy new clothes or shop for something specific.

Be sure to wear comfortable shoes each day, as there will be a lot of walking. You’re welcome to bring a second pair of shoes to change into if you’d like, but it’s completely optional.

For Panhellenic Round, the most casual day of recruitment, aim for a relaxed but put-together look. Jeans, shorts, or skirts paired with a cute top are all great options. Most importantly, wear something that feels like you and keeps you comfortable. Boots or stylish sneakers work well, and be sure to bring comfortable shoes since you’ll be doing a lot of walking throughout the day.

Panhellenic Round

August 29 & 30

For Sisterhood Round, the look remains casual but slightly more elevated. Pants or skirts paired with a cute top are great choices. Wear something that makes you feel confident and happy. This is the perfect time to style boots, nice sneakers, sandals, or even a kitten heel. Be sure to bring comfortable shoes as well, since there will still be plenty of walking throughout the day.

Sisterhood Round

September 5

For Philanthropy Round, the look is slightly more elevated than the previous rounds. Pants or skirts paired with a cute top, or a dress, long or short, are all great options. Choose something that makes you feel confident and happy. This is a great opportunity to wear boots, sandals, or even a kitten heel. As always, be sure to bring comfortable shoes, as there will still be plenty of walking throughout the day.

Philanthropy Round

September 6

For Preference Round, the most formal day of recruitment, aim for a more polished and elevated look. Skirts paired with a cute top or dresses, long or short, are great options. Choose something that makes you feel confident and happy. This is the perfect time to wear sandals or heels. As always, don’t forget to bring comfortable shoes, as there will still be plenty of walking throughout the day.
